We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to manage and maintain existing development objects and to develop additional objects as required in our SAP Landscape. This role involves overseeing a range of tasks including development, enhancements, troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, support pack upgrades, and working with functional teams and business process experts. Proficiency in classic ABAP, Object Oriented ABAP, ABAP WebDynpro, Workflows, and interfaces is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:

• The SAP ABAP Developer applies technical skills to SAP products, including ECC, Business Warehouse, and New Dimension products (CRM, SRM, HR, SAP Enterprise Portal, SEM, etc.), and database and operating system technical skills to maintain the integrity of the Client’s SAP landscape environments.
• Plans, analyzes, develops, programs; modifies, tests, debugs, and implements complex computer systems; defines requirements for creative, logical, and effective solutions; confers with management to determine feasibility of recommendations.
• Assists with problem and/or process identification and definition; analyzes system problems and takes corrective actions.
• Provides technical direction in information modeling concepts, data access, information system interfaces, and reporting tools.

• Evaluates hardware and/or software for improvements and possible modifications; plans and develops third party systems deployment; trains users.
• Develops and documents data standards; prepares documentation for new systems and system modifications in accordance with established County standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on SAP
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development
• Knowledge of SAP development methodologies and best
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects).

Preferred Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent
• 3-7 years of experience specifically in SAP ABAP development within SAP ECC
• Extensive proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools, with a strong understanding of ECC architecture.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP ECC modules such as HCM (HR), MM (Materials Management), and FI (Financial Accounting),
• Proven track record of successfully designing, developing, and implementing complex ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) tailored to ECC requirements.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code within ECC
• Familiarity with SAP data dictionary objects, data modeling, and database concepts specific to
• Experience with integration technologies and methodologies for ECC, including IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ECC environments.
