Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled AI/ML & Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of intelligent systems, backend services, and scalable machine learning applications. This hybrid role requires a strong foundation in Python software engineering, paired with hands-on expertise in machine learning model development, data processing, and cloud-native deployment.
Type: 100% Remote, Short-Term Contract position
AI/ML Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deploy machine learning algorithms for NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, or predictive analytics.
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, validation, and serving.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into ML-driven solutions.
- Monitor and retrain production models as part of an MLOps lifecycle.
- Evaluate model performance and ensure explainability, scalability, and fairness.
Python Engineering Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Write efficient, modular Python code for data transformation, model serving, and integration tasks.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Implement unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker.
- Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to ensure robust and secure application delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Solid experience with ML libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and data tools like pandas, NumPy.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Kubeflow) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong debugging, testing, and software design skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines, microservices architecture, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
