We are seeking a Fiber Network Technician to join our team!   You will help support and maintain company networks both internally and outside perimeter   Network Technician - Fiber - Must be able to install fiber and copper cables and climb ladders in doing so. - Fiber splicing, termination, testing, trouble shooting and repair of all new and old fiber cables and copper cables. - Completion of new installations is a must. - Fiber splicing, termination, testing, trouble shooting and repair of all new and old fiber and copper cables. - Use of test equipment listed below is a must and will be part of your required learning. - Corning Unicam Fiber termination kits and puck and polish fiber kits. - EXFO fiber testers - EXFO OTDR - Fujikura fusion splicer - JDSU/Acterna 2310 and 107A and 310 T-bird test equipment. - Fluke Copper PRO and volt/ohm meters - Other telecom installation tools. - Working outdoors to locate all buried customer OSP cables from the Utility Notification Center of Colorado, 811 locate tickets and on site local requests. Standby work for all excavations within the 10 foot limit will also be required. Removal of heavy man hole lids to have water pumped out when flooding occurs

Three or more years of experience working as an AV VTC Technician.   Skills include: - Candidates are expected to have experience with videoconference and conference room upgrades, knowledge of Extron and Crestron infrastructure and control products, Bi-amp audio devices, Tandberg codecs, projection system and other audio/video equipment knowledge. - Installing complex AV systems. Technicians must complete technical installation of AV systems, including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of audio and video equipment, and implementation of Crestron Digital Media and control systems. Also, trouble-shoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems as required. - Install, configure, integrate and test videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies (videoconferencing, multimedia, displays, video projection systems, audio reinforcement systems, cameras, microphones, document cameras, streaming technologies, etc.) and A/V based collaboration technologies. - Integrate and configure A/V systems with Crestron control systems. Install and configure Crestron Digital Media products. - Develop and conduct on-site user and administrative training for the installed integrated A/V systems. - Assist in design, integration, testing and troubleshooting of various network and telecommunications systems including IP and ISDN networks. - Assist in customer site surveys, including collecting and recording existing detailed operational, functional and technical requirements, developing project scopes. This would be the design engineer responsibility not a technician. - Understanding plans and specifications to identify the materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements. This would be the design engineer responsibility - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprint and drawings. - Load and test touch panels and control programs - Troubleshoot hardware cabling. - Provide system testing and troubleshooting expertise on high-end A/V solutions as related to the remote control sub-systems of the integrated solutions. - Provide training and training material, including advanced training for the technical support and services personnel and directs easy to understand basic training for the end-users of the systems. - Crestron Digital Media Certification (preferred). - At a minimum, 3 years of experience with troubleshooting videoconferencing, audio conferencing, and integrated A/V technologies in a large enterprise. - At a minimum, 3 years of experience installing and troubleshooting Digital Media, BiAmp, Extron, Tandberg, Polycom, Crestron, Lutron, and corresponding hardware and software infrastructure. - Familiarity with IT, telecommunications, A/V and electrical equipment including related materials and specifications. - Detailed knowledge of videoconferencing standards. - Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. - Administer ITSM / Service Now network ticket queue.

Job Description   This position performs as an Red Hat Linux Systems Administrator . This position is responsible for successfully providing OpenStack System Administration tasks on RHEL servers. We are seeking a Senior Network Technician to join our team! You will help support and maintain company computers, servers, and networks.   Senior Network Technician   Five years or more of experience as a Network Technician with at least a CCNA or CCNP. Performs identified Move/Add/Change (MAC) activity to include all required network modifications both physical and logical. May include moving/adding connection in network closet and terminating port connections at the end location (desk/office/conference room, etc.). May include necessary changes within the switch to accommodate port activation.   Perform as first responder to ITSM and Service Now problem tickets. Can include a variety of duties to include customer contact, problem identification, and research, taking corrective action, acquiring additional support, documentation, and problem closeout.   Support other network personnel as required with the installation/modification of network infrastructure and components. Support during off-hours and weekends may be required for maintenance windows and break/fix.   Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules. May perform first- and/or second-level problem determination first level is help desk. Interfaces with users and/or network vendors.   Sets up and tests a variety of systems and hardware components prior to field deployment. Analyzes failed equipment according to established methods or procedures and determine whether equipment is repairable in-house or must be returned to the vendor for repair. Performs standard repairs and tests of components or equipment that can be repaired in-house. Tests incoming repaired items from vendor to ensure that repairs were properly done.
